Russ Thomas

Russ Thomas serves on the Board of LeadingReach. Mr. Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer of Availity. He serves as a board member for the Florida Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Healthcare Policy Council, Jacksonville University, and Iodine Software. Prior to joining Availity, he was the CEO of Gold Standard, a drug information database and clinical knowledge solution, before selling it to Reed Elsevier in 2006. Mr. Thomas continued as a senior executive in Reed Elsevier’s clinical information business until 2008. A licensed commercial pilot, he served on the Jacksonville Aviation Authority from 2015 to 2022. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia.
