EHP Statement on Racial Injustice

To our team members, colleagues & friends –

Recent events across our country have reignited the deep issue of racial discrimination. The deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless other black Americans have brought needed global attention to the systemic injustice in the fabric of our society.

The Enhanced Healthcare Partners leadership team recognizes the enormity of the problems before us. As an organization and as fellow humans, we must do our part to end racism, injustice and violence. We are working and will continue to help build businesses that stand for positive change in our society. With this note, we hope to convey our solidarity with black lives in communities around the world.

Our firm’s mission is ‘to invest in and build successful and innovative companies that create positive change in the healthcare system’, which means investing and working in local communities and the people who make up those communities.

To create this change, we must actively practice inclusion, acceptance and anti-racism in our firm and in all of our companies—not just because we are stronger with diversity—but because it’s the only path forward. Further, we have chosen to support the NAACP with a donation as we respect this organization for its mission to foster a society where all individuals have equal rights.

As a leadership team, we remain proud and deeply appreciative of our employees, our management teams and the organizations that we’ve been a part of building. We will continue to foster an ongoing dialogue to help support a brighter future in our communities and beyond. We know we cannot stop with words—we must take action daily in order to make a positive change.
