NextCare Holdings, Inc. Opens New Urgent Care Center in Thornton
THORNTON, CO. – (October 6, 2015) – NextCare Holdings, Inc. – The nation’s largest privately held provider of urgent care medicine – announces the opening of a new center in Thornton, Colorado. This clinic brings the total number of NextCare Urgent Care-operated facilities along the front range to nine, spanning from Centennial to Cheyenne including locations in Longmont and Greeley.

The new NextCare Urgent Care clinic is slated to open on October 13 at 9720 Grant Street in Thornton. To commemorate the opening, NextCare will host an Open House event on October 21 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. for the surrounding community and local businesses. Ribbon cutting will take place at 4:00 p.m., and food and beverages will be provided.
The Thornton clinic will be open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The facility accepts most insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna CO, Humana, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Anthem BCBS, Colorado Access (a Managed Medicaid Plan), Medicare, Tricare and United Healthcare. For uninsured or underinsured patients, NextCare offers discount programs that can be used in conjunction with a high-deductible catastrophic policy.
Online check-in will be available through NextCare’s Wahoo (Wait at Home or Office) service, which allows patients to register on a computer, tablet or smartphone, and wait for their time to be seen in a virtual waiting room – from the location of the patient’s choice. NextCare will then communicate via phone or text message when it’s time to come to the clinic. Walk-ins will also be welcome.
