NextCare Holdings, Inc. Acquires FirstChoice Urgent Care of Greater Albemarle
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – (March 4, 2015) – NextCare Holdings, Inc. – one of the nation’s leading providers of urgent care medicine and occupational medical services – announces the acquisition of FirstChoice Urgent Care in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This clinic brings the total number of NextCare Urgent Care-operated facilities throughout the state to ten.

The acquisition was finalized in December 2014 and the FirstChoice Urgent Care clinic officially began operating under NextCare Holdings on Dec. 30. The clinic is located at:

To celebrate FirstChoice’s joining the NextCare family, the clinic will hold a community ribbon-cutting event - open to the public - on March 19 at 12:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served and gifts will be provided to attendees.
This clinic marks the first in an alliance between FirstChoice Urgent Care and NextCare Holdings. The two entities have formed a partnership to ensure patients have a complete continuum of care.
The Elizabeth City clinic is now open Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The facility accepts most insurance plans, including Aetna, Assurant Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Mail Handlers, Medcost, Medicaid, Medicare and Tricare.
