Kevin Miller currently sits on the Board of Directors of three private equity backed companies and is an Executive Partner with Calera Capital. The first is Prospira Paincare, where Kevin serves as Executive Chairman. In this role, Kevin has worked closely with the lead sponsor, Enhanced Healthcare Partners to recruit a strong management team and execute the acquisition focused strategy. Prospira has over 30 medical offices in four states.
In 2019, Kevin joined the board of Bay State Physical Therapy, the largest physical therapy practice in Massachusetts with over 50 offices in three states. In 2017, Kevin joined the board of United Dental Partners, a specialty focused dental platform based in Illinois. He worked alongside the Calera Capital team during the pre-sale evaluation and diligence process for both investments. In his board capacity, Kevin plays an active role in both companies.
Kevin previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Benevis, a Friedman, Fleischer, and Lowe portfolio company. He recruited and developed an exceptional leadership team that grew revenue by over 10 times and EBITDA by over 100 times during his tenure. He is proud to have built the largest provider of dental services to children in the United States.
Prior to joining Benevis in 2005, Kevin was Vice President and General Manager at Ariba, Inc. In this capacity, he managed Ariba’s largest business unit covering the Eastern United States, Canada, and the Public Sector. Prior to joining Ariba, Kevin was a Principal with The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting firm based in Boston. He began his career at General Electric Company, where he worked in various businesses. After completing GE’s Financial Management Program, he worked at GE Capital as part of a global M&A team.
Kevin previously served on the Board of Directors of Direct General, an insurance company that provides personal lines insurance directly to the customer through the web and nearly 400 offices in twelve states. Direct General was jointly owned by TPG Capital and Calera Capital, until it was sold in 2017.
Kevin received his M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelors’ degree in Business Administration.
